Annual Patriotic Children’s Parade in Warrensburg

It’s that time again! Warrensburg’s Main Street Inc, Warrensburg Fire Department and Warrensburg Parks and Recreation are teaming up to present the annual Fourth of JulyPatriotic Children’s Parade, that will begin on the Johnson County Courthouse Lawn.

According to Recreations Superintendent for Warrensburg Parks and Recreation, Amy Epple, pre-registration is not required.

“They can sign up when they get here at 9:30 a.m.,” said Epple. “We’ll give them a number and get their information. The judging will take place during the parade that will last until 11 a.m.”

Children 12 and under can show their patriotism this 4th of July by decorating their wagons, trikes, bikes or even themselves to take part in the annual Patriotic Children’s Parade being held in Warrensburg Friday morning.

Special prizes, a bounce house, games, face painting and more will be available before and after the parade.
