2 suspects arrested after driving at excessive speeds in Andrew County

ANDREW COUNTY, Mo.- Two male suspects were arrested earlier this afternoon in Camden County by the Missouri Highway Patrol. According to the arrest report Markel Robinson, 19, of Kansas City, Mo., and Jawuan Anderson, 19, also of Kansas City, were taken into custody in large part because of speeding. Robinson is the alleged driver and is being charged with exceeding posted speed limit of 70 MPH at 106 MPH, driving with no insurance and driving without a valid license. Anderson, the passenger, is also being charged with exceeding posted speed limit, no insurance, and a separate charge of not wearing a seat belt.

Both Robinson and Anderson are being held at the Andrew County Jail under a bondable release.
