CARROLLTON, MO – City officials in Carrollton may be making changes to the way they accept bids for goods or services. At a short council meeting last night, the idea was floated by Councilor, Robert Cowherd, after city council members passed up the lowest bid for street department equipment, in favor of a higher bid proposed by a local business.

No action was taken regarding the potential change, but council members indicated they may be considering possible amendments. The difference between the two bids was under $300.
