Accident at State Fair Injures Girl

An accident at the Missouri State Fair in Pettis County Sunday night injured a Pleasant Hill girl. According to reports from the Highway Patrol Jack Rhodes, 81, of Sturgeon was driving south in a dirt lot near the sheep pavilion on the fairgrounds when his vehicle struck a parked truck. The Rhodes vehicle continued through a chain link fence and struck a parked SUV towing a fifth wheel trailer with several occupants. One of them was Tyne Wilson, 7. She was taken Bothwell Regional Health Center with minor injuries.
