Accident Stalls Traffic on WB I-70

Update (4:30) - One person was injured in the crash that shut down traffic on I-70 near Oak Grove Tuesday morning.  According to the Highway Patrol, Charles Lewis, 43, was westbound around 11:00 when he swerved to avoid a parked vehicle.  This caused his semi to travel off the side of the road and overturn.  He was transported to Centerpoint Hospital with moderate injuries.  Traffic was slowed for several hours.

An overturned tractor-trailer and several vehicles are blocking both lanes of westbound I-70, according to a KMZU listener.  The caller said the accident occurred Tuesday morning about one mile west of Oak Grove at the 26 mile marker.  Crews are on scene.  Drivers should avoid the area if possible.
