Accident Stalls Traffic on WB I-70

A jack-knifed tractor-trailer is reportedly causing delays on I-70 at Highway 291 in Independence.  A KMZU listener said the accident occurred at about 7:00 a.m. Thursday.  Westbound traffic is said to be backed up to Blue Springs.  The extent of injuries is not known.  Drivers are encouraged to find an alternate route.
