Accused molester has a preliminary hearing in Saline County

SALINE COUNTY, Mo. – A predatory sex offender from Minnesota, has a hearing today, for allegedly molesting a child in Saline County.

Jerome Lee Williams, II, 16, of Sedalia, is schedule to appear at 1:30 this afternoon for a preliminary hearing on two felony counts of statutory sodomy with a person less than 12 years old.

Williams was investigated after the victim’s mother called the Missouri Children’s Division hotline, on January 6th of this year. Marshall Police learned that Williams was in custody in Pettis County for violating the sex offender registry in Minnesota and failing to register as an offender in Missouri.

Williams is custody in Saline County with a $250,000 cash only bond.
