The 29th Annual Missouri Day Parade will be held on October 19 beginning at 8:30 a.m. in Trenton, Missouri where this year’s theme will be “Honoring Our Agricultural Heritage.” During the parade, the AG Director of Missouri, Dr. Jon Hagler plans to ride through the parade on one of his own prized Missouri Fox Trotter horses. Over time, Dr. Hagler has traveled to every county in the state talking with thousands of farmers, agriculture leaders, consumers and youth on the importance of agriculture in our nation.

Dr. Hagler has aggressively worked to promote agriculture’s importance to all Missourians. He has raised agriculture’s profile by emphasizing the importance of this industry and ag-related jobs to the state’s overall agriculture economy.

KMZU’s Josh Brunscher talks with Steve Maxey, Parade Co-Chairman for the Missouri Day Parade about the event. Click below to listen.
