Airport Policy Changed in Sedalia

Edwards said they frequently receive catering requests from jet planes that land there.  Alcohol may now be temporarily stored on city property at the airport, which was not previously allowed.  A slight increase in revenue for the city is expected from the change.

Council also moved forward with the new office at Crown Hill Cemetery.  The city sold the old office building, which did not meet ADA requirements.  Council approved an agreement for the design of that building at Monday night’s meeting.
