Alderman to Meet in Higginsville

The Board of Alderman for the city of Higginsville is set to gather Monday night.

Their agenda will include a monthly report from the Municipal Court Clerk, a report from the Treasury and other departments.

One part of the utilities portion of the meeting will include the approval of a utility access easement at 510 West 32nd Street, allowing city crews to have access at the rear of the property. Also a proposal from the Utility Committee will be presented based on the site survey of the old lake’s spillway. A review of forming a new fire district is also on the agenda.

The board will meet at 7:30 p.m. in council chambers at 1922 Main Street.
