Alleged Pot Grower in Court

A Bates City resident is scheduled to appear in a Lafayette County Courtroom Monday morning.

Christopher Zevecke, 31, is facing charges that include one count of delivery or manufacture of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and three counts of possession of a controlled substance.

Zevecke was arrested in February during the search of his home which uncovered a marijuana-growing operation.

He is scheduled to appear at 9 a.m. for a pre-trial setting.
