Alligator Found Near Hardin

A man fishing on Highway J, about three miles south of Hardin, recently made a surprising discovery.  According to KMZU listeners, the fisherman found an alligator in a runoff.  The game warden was called to inspect the dead animal.  However, the Missouri Department of Conservation was not available for comment Monday because of the holiday.
