Amoret driver hurt in crash involving deer in Bates County Monday night

BATES COUNTY, Mo. — A crash on Highway 52 in Bates County sent a driver from Amoret to an area hospital Monday night.

The Highway Patrol responded to State Highway 52 at County Road Southwest 11001 around 9:00 p.m. to reports of a crash involving a single vehicle.

A vehicle operated by 33-year-old Miranda K. Antley was traveling east when it struck a deer in the roadway.

Antley sustained moderate injuries in the accident, according to the report. She was treated at the scene by Bates County emergency medical technicians.
