Accused child molestor asks for lower bond in Pettis County

PETTIS COUNTY, Mo. – A motion for bond amendment will be heard Thursday morning in a Pettis County molestation case.

Eric W. Fields, 45, of Sedalia will appear before the court at 9:00 a.m. Thursday, August 9, 2018 to hear defense arguments to reduce his $250,000 cash or surety bond and change the conditions of his release on bond.

Fields is charged with five counts of felony attempted statutory sodomy and a misdemeanor count of furnishing pornography to a minor.

The probable cause statement alleges Fields molested a male juvenile between the years of 2012 and 2014.
