Attorney causes delay by withdrawing from Linn County case

LINN COUNTY, Mo. –┬áThe defense attorney withdrew from a Brookfield womans drug case, before a preliminary hearing Thursday in Linn County.

On Wednesday, the court received a motion to withdraw from Attorney Jeremy Shewmaker, in the matter of state versus Tammy Lundy. Lundy is charged with three felony counts of distributing a controlled substance in a protected location, two felony counts of possession of a controlled substance, driving while revoked or suspended and misdemeanor counts of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A new preliminary hearing has been scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on the 11th of October.
