Appleton City driver injured in Bates County crash

BATES COUNTY, Mo. — An accident on Highway 52 in Bates County left a driver injured.

The crash occurred on 52 Highway, three miles east of Route N at approximately 10:00 p.m Wednesday.

A Highway Patrol report indicates a car driven by 44-year-old Appleton City resident Becky Morris was eastbound onĀ  52 when she struck a deer in the roadway.

Morris received minor injuries in the crash. She was taken to Elliot Memorial Hospital to be treated.
