The Concordia Board of Aldermen will move through several agenda items on Monday evening. Click to hear KMZU’s Kristie Cross talk to City Administrator Dale Klussman:
According to Klussman, the board is expected to authorize a payment in the amount of $3,911 to J.C. Meyer Construction. “That is actually payment for the retainer of their contract for the contract work at the booster station,” said Klussman,”The work has been completed and accepted. We had retained 10 percent of the bid on it, so we will authorize to go ahead and get that cleared out.”
Also on the agenda is the Trail of Memories Project. According to Klussman, bid openings were held on November 27th. “We received three bids of which the apparent lowest was DMS Contracting,” said Klussman,” The amount of the bid was $251,045.”
The board is also expected to approve dates for city offices to be closed during the holidays.
