A Marshall man is behind bars again and is now facing significant time in the department of corrections, after allegedly stealing goods from a large area retailer.

The Marshall Police Department reported the arrest of William Douglas Loggins, 53, last Friday. He was riding a bike from the store where he allegedly stole a bottle of Jim Bean and a package of socks. He was stopped at the corner of Miami and Morgan.

Loggins’ criminal history includes multiple arrests and charges for crimes ranging from burglary, receiving stolen property and assault up to elderly abuse, violating a protection order, witness tampering and a number of other felonies.

If convicted of first degree burglary, Loggins faces up to fifteen years in prison. He is currently being held on $10,000 bond.
