The Savage said there are several things on the to-do list.  “We have several projects including getting some walls framed up, installing ceiling, and lots of painting,” said Savage,” We also have several tables and chairs that I would like to get refurbished and painted.  We definitely have a variety of things for a variety of skill levels.”

Once up and running, the organization will serve area youth.  “We are dedicated to bringing a five-day-per-week comprehensive after-school program and family service agency to Chillicothe,” said Savage,” We just want to offer a safe place for kids to come after school where they can get help with their homework and then participate in other activities that can help them to become productive citizens.”

There are two work shifts available Saturday.  The first will run from 8:00 to noon and the second from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00p.m.  Lunch will be served for all volunteers.
