An armed and dangerous suspect taken into custody in Ray County

UPDATE:  – 9 p.m. – An evening Facebook post by Ray County Sheriff’s Office indicates Aaron Rogers was taken into custody Friday afternoon. 

RAY COUNTY, Mo. – A vehicle pursuit in Ray County Saturday, ended with a crash in Carroll County and a dangerous suspect on the run.

A post by the Ray County Sheriff’s Office says that deputies were involved in a pursuit with a felon with multiple warrants at approximately 1:30 p.m. yesterday. The suspect tried to crash his vehicle into a deputies vehicle, head on.

Aaron Rogers evaded a five hour manhunt, West of Norborne. Two of the occupants found after the crash turned out to be juveniles.
