Arrest Follows Accident

An early morning crash in Caldwell County led to the arrest of a Braymer resident.

The Highway Patrol reports Robert Burns, 32, was Northbound on Route A at about 3:20 a.m. when he travelled into a ditch.  He then struck a metal culvert in a driveway.  He was taken by private vehicle to Hedrick Medical Center with moderate injuries.

Burns is now facing charges that include DWI-drugs and has been released.
