Arrest follows crash after discovery of warrants by state troopers

JOHNSON COUNTY, MO – A subject from Warrensburg is under arrest after an alleged drunk driving incident.

The driver of a vehicle, David Campbell, 30, was taken to Johnson County Jail after a Highway Patrol arrest for driving while intoxicated, no valid license, no insurance, and warrants out of Independence. The crash Sunday night occurred off 50 Highway eastbound, east of 58 when the vehicle overturned off the left side.

Campbell and a passenger, 30 year old Heather Whalan, were listed in the report with minor injuries. They refused treatment at the scene.
