CHILLICOTHE, Mo.- A Chillicothe, Mo., man is facing assault allegations following an incident on East Jackson Street in which another man was hospitalized.

According to court records, Terry Green, 53, of Chillicothe, was formally charged yesterday, March 21, with felony first-degree assault or attempt-serious physical injury or special victim in Livingston County Circuit Court.

The probable cause statement indicates that Green was the alleged aggressor at a residence in the 100 block of East Jackson Street. On the night of March 10, 2018, officers responded to the area and found a male victim with major injuries to the left side of his face including bruises, cuts and a injured left eye. The victim was transported to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment by EMS.

Further investigation revealed that Green was at the residence, allegedly intoxicated, trying to evict the tenant before attacking him. The victim was allegedly knocked out from the punches and was unconscious for about a minute and a half. The victim ultimately suffered facial fractures including a broken sinus.

A warrant was issued for Green’s arrest yesterday and bond was set at $50,000 cash-only with conditions. Future court dates are currently pending.
