Authorities ask residents not to travel in Carroll County

CARROLL COUNTY, Mo. – Flood water has prompted a warning in Carroll County.

The Carroll County Communication Center has passed along a request from the Carroll County Sheriff’s Department.  Highway 65 is closed by flood water about a half mile South of the Carroll-Livingston County line. There are several other locations on 65 Highway where water is running over low spots in the roadway. Route B, East of Highway 65 and South of Carrollton is closed by flood water.

The Sheriff’s Department is asking that everyone avoid travel tonight if possible.
