An Oak Grove resident will spend the next eleven years of his life in the Missouri Department of Corrections following his sentencing Friday in a Lafayette Courtroom.

20-year-old Brian Beebe pleaded guilty to charges of involuntary manslaughter, assault, and leaving the scene of an accident in November. The crash killed 25-year-old Cody Turner and seriously injured 23-year-old Christen Kantner back in May of 2012.

Bebee will serve seven years in the DOC for involuntary manslaughter and second degree assault and four years for leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident that caused injury and property damage; that was his second offense.
