Belton Teen Arrested in Sedalia

A Belton teen was arrested with violent offender charges in Sedalia Wednesday night. According to reports from the Pettis County Sheriff’s Office Tyler Evans, 19, was jailed on charges of alleged 2nd degree assault with a knife, unlawful use of a weapon, armed criminal action, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Evans was taken to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold.
