Benefit Hog Roast

Memorial Baptist Church will hold a benefit hog roast Saturday evening.  Click to hear KMZU’s Sarah Scott speak with Coordinator Grant Newton:

The funds will be used to send five members to help rebuild a church Kentucky.  “In our asssociation, there’s always various mission trips people can go on,” said Newton, “And there were some individuals in our church that had done some studying in some other churches, and they felt like this was one area that they felt called to go help with, rebuild the church.”

They hope to raise about $2,500.  The meal will be served for a free will donation starting at 4:30.  A live auction begins at 7:00.  The church is located at the intersection of Highways Z and N in Northeast Pettis County.
