Blue Springs Man Robbed in Columbia

A Blue Springs man was robbed and beaten while visiting friends in Columbia near Rocky Fort Drive and Maple Court Monday night just before 11:30 p.m.

Authorities report the man was returning to his vehicle to leave the area when three black males wearing hoodies and bandanas covering their faces approached him and demanded money. The victim refused and was assaulted by the suspects, who took his personal property and fled the area.
