BOA Hears from Presiding Commissioner

Hofflander about the Capital Improvement Sales Tax, which will be on the April ballot.  “That’s the Capital Improvement Tax that helps fund the road and bridge, the special road districts, and part of the county buildings,” said Barker, “A percentage of that goes back to the city, so that’s why the cities were interested in seeing that be renewed in April.”

They also approved the hiring of a part-time EMT.  Charles Schieber will start out at the base salary for employees of the ambulance department.
