LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. — Out-of-state residents were injured Monday morning during a boat crash at the Lake of the Ozarks.

The Missouri State Water Patrol responded to the Big Niangua arm of the lake in Camden County, where two motor boats reportedly collided around 11:15 a.m. Monday.

Injuries sustained by Erin and Chris Crouch, of Papillion, Neb. were described as moderate and minor, respectively. They were hospitalized at Lake Regional Hospital for treatment. A Camdenton resident, John Davis, was uninjured.

The report indicates both boats maneuvered simultaneously to avoid each other, but turned in the same direction, resulting in the collision.
