Authorities said the body of an adult white female was found near the lake at the park.  No more information is expected to be released until an autopsy has been performed.

On April 19, 2013, a maintenance worker at Wallace State Park discovered the body of an adult white female, near the lake at the park.

The Clinton County Sheriff’s Department is conducting the death investigation with the assistance of the Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control, Missouri Park Rangers, Cameron Police Department, Buchanan County Sheriff’s Department, Caldwell County Sheriff’s Department, and Cameron Fire Department.
