Bond Increased for Odessa Resident

An Odessa resident facing assault charges is now being held on a much larger bond.  A Lafayette County Judge increased bond for Joe Courtway, 44,  from $7,500 to $100,000 last week.  Courtway is accused of punching Paul Schwartze, 56, in the face following an October dispute over hunting property priveleges.  Courtway’s next hearing is scheduled for December 18th.
