Bond reduced for coach accused of molesting players

HENRY COUNTY, Mo. –┬áThe bond has been lowered for the softball coach accused of sexual misconduct with several team members.

At a hearing Friday in Henry County, the court authorized a 10% cash bond on previous $100,000 cash only bond for Christopher A. Hidy, 43, of Windsor. Hidy was charged with three counts of statutory sodomy or attempted sodomy, two counts of child molestation in the third degree and one count of tampering with a victim in a felony prosecution.

Hidy was charged after two 12 year olds and an 11 year old claimed he inappropriately touched them at his home.
