Bond reduction requested by Gallatin defendant in fraud case

DAVIESS COUNTY, Mo. — A Gallatin woman accused of stealing from several victims is asking the court in Daviess County for bond reduction, according to court records filed Friday.

Allegations against Amanda Rainey, 34 accuse her of amassing large amounts of personal mail and documents stolen from individuals in Daviess County.

Bond for a single felony charge of trafficking in stolen identities was set at $50,000.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for December 4.
