Bond Set in Warrensburg Murder Case

Bond has been set for a man accused in the death of a Warrensburg resident.  Zayid Abid, 23, is charged with first degree murder and armed criminal action following the September shooting death of  William Blaine Whitworth, 25.  Bond has been set at $2 million.  According to prosecutors, Abid has a revoked visa and could ask the Department of Homeland Security to deport him if he is able to post bond.  A trial date has not yet been scheduled in the case.
