“I have a lot of new releases,” said Lightfoot. “Those are duplicates – we already have a library copy on the shelves and circulating, but we have a lot of those. We have some John Grisham, Iris Johnasen, and James Patterson. On the nonfiction side of things, we have a lot of cook books. We also have a lot of paperbacks, ranging from your mysteries to your romances.”

The library is open 9 in the morning until 5 in the afternoon, and the sale will be happening as long as the library is open.

“It will happen Monday through Friday from 9:00 until 5:00,” added Lightfoot. “Wednesday evenings and on weekends, people need to ask the library staff person for access. My volunteers won’t be downstairs on Wednesday nights or on weekends, but the book sale will be open.”

If someone wants to donate books for the sale or find out more, they should visit the Carrollton Public Library. For details, call the Carrollton Public Library at 660-542-0183.
