Boone County charges man deemed responsible for crash that killed teacher

BOONE COUNTY, MO – A Clark driver believed to have been responsible for the death of a Harrisburg teacher, is the subject of a warrant out of Boone County.

Monday, the warrant for Brandon Brill, 26, was issued charging him with 2nd degree murder. Brill’s vehicle crossed the center line on a roadway, colliding head on with a bus driven by teacher and coach, Brian Simpson, who was killed in the crash. Four students in the bus were also injured.

Bond has been set at $1,000,000. Future court dates are pending.
