Bosworth Man Skips Bail

(Update) 06/23/14: Jason Petree was apprehended late Sunday or early Monday at a trailer park in North Kansas City.

A Bosworth man is wanted on a felony charges in Carroll County. According to a probable cause statement Jason D. Petree, 39, allegedly got into a verbal confrontation with another party at a convenience store on Highway UU in Bosworth.

As the situation escalated Petree allegedly displayed a knife in a threatening manner. After the investigation Carroll Co. Sheriff’s Deputies took Petree into custody and charged him with felony unlawful use of a weapon.

After posting bond Petree failed to show for his hearing last week.  If anyone knows the whereabouts of Jason D. Petree they are urged to contact the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office. Do not approach the suspect, he may be armed and dangerous.
