BREAKING NEWS — Marshall school officials warn of threat at MHS

MARSHALL, Mo. — The Marshall School District is warning parents that a threat was made on social media alluding to violence planned at Marshall High School.

A text was sent out to parents, guardians and students Thursday morning after school officials were made aware of the social media post.

The message from the district said that officials have the suspected poster in custody and is being questioned.They could not be immediately reached for comment on the situation.

Classes will continue and follow their normal schedule with an increased law enforcement presence on school grounds.
