UPDATE: BREAKING NEWS — 24 Highway open again after crash near Clifton Hill Monday morning

UPDATE: 10/23/2017, 8:31 a.m. — The Missouri Highway Patrol said that as of 8:25 a.m. Monday, the crash had been cleared from the roadway and traffic was flowing normally. Further details will be provided as soon as they are released.

RANDOLPH COUNTY, Mo. — KMZU News has confirmed reports of a motor vehicle crash at Clifton Hill in Randolph County.

A spokesperson for the Missouri State Highway Patrol told KMZU News that the accident happened at about 7:00 a.m. Monday at the intersection of 24 Highway and 3 Highway near Clifton Hill.

The accident shut down the eastbound lane of traffic and delays are possible, the Highway Patrol said.

It was not immediately clear if anyone involved in the wreck was injured or how many vehicles were involved in the collision.

Drivers in the area should use caution and plan alternative routes if possible.
