Route B in Linn County will be closed Thursday. MoDOT will shut the road down at 7:30 for a bridge inspection and routine maintenance. The Locust Creek Bridge, approximately one mile west of Route 5, should reopen by 4:00 Thursday afternoon.

LINNEUS, Mo. – Route B in Linn County will be closed tomorrow, June 6, for a bridge inspection and routine maintenance, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation. A bridge inspection team will have the Locust Creek bridge closed, approximately one mile west of Route 5. Local maintenance crews will use the closure to perform routine maintenance, as well. The road will close at 7:30 a.m. and should reopen by 4 p.m. the same day. Motorists will need to plan an alternate route.
All work is weather permitting. MoDOT apologizes for any inconvenience this necessary closure may cause. MoDOT encourages all motorists to slow down, buckle up and drive safely through work zones to ensure everyone can Arrive Alive.
