Brookfield Merchant’s Warn of Fake Money

Brookfield authorities are asking those who live and shop in the area to be on the lookout for fake money changing hands. According to the Brookfield Chamber of Commerce apparently some counterfeit 20-dollar bills have been used in the community with the serial numbers of J – G – 286 – 135- 68 – C. If you come across these bills you are urged to contact the Brookfield Police Department immediately.
