CALIFORNIA, MO – Moniteau County deputies believe they have solved multiple burglary cases with the arrest of California, Mo residents last weekend.

Deputies say they found several items reported stolen from the California area during a search warrant executed Saturday at a residence. An occupant of the residence, Eric P. Miller, had been the subject of a previous traffic stop for vehicle equipment violations. After a search, and confiscation of drugs and paraphernalia, Miller reportedly provided information about the stolen property, and regarding a second suspect, Matthew Bishop. Stolen property from Moniteau and Cooper Counties was recovered. MIller and Bishop were both taken into custody for second degree burglary.

Miller faces an additional charge of methamphetamine possession. Bishop is also charged with paraphernalia possession.
