Burglary Suspect Returns to Court Monday

A Saline County resident accused of breaking into 20 units at a storage facility in Slater will have a hearing Monday morning.  William Griffith, 20, of Slater, and co-defendant Jerrad Gilpin, 19, of Marshall, allegedly stole more than $12,000 worth of property.  They were each charged in August with burglary and stealing.  Griffith will appear in court at 10:00 a.m. for a plea/trial setting.  Gilpin’s next hearing is on Dec. 19.
