Bus Bids in Marshall

Consideration of bids to purchase new buses for the 2012-2013 school year is on the itinerary for Tuesday night’s Board of Education meeting in Marshall.  Three companies submitted proposals.  It is recommended that Midwest Bus Sales be rewarded the contract.  The session will get started at 7:00 p.m.

The Three Bids:

National Bus Sales- $68,500 (with 38,000 and 45,000 miles) x 2 = $137,000

American Bus Sales- $67,90o & 61,900 (with 51,000 and 65,000 miles) = $129,800

Midwest Bus Sales- $73,000 x 2 (with 15,000 miles) = $146,000
