Packed agenda will be tackled during Odessa Aldermen meeting

The Odessa, Missouri Board of Aldermen will meet in regular session Monday, April 23, 2018 of the Dyer Park Community Building on West Main Street.

Public comments will include two members of the community speaking about utility costs as well as sewer waivers in regards to filling swimming pools.

As part of old business the board will hear from two individuals requesting exemption of annexation and ability to connect to the city sewer system for a proposed development.

Board members will also discuss the updated logo design and a proclamation will be made as part of new business in regards to the national day of prayer.

Alderman will also hear special event applications related to the upcoming Puddle Jumper Days and go over a bill with a first and second reading that would amend a section of zoning ordinances related to a property on Old 40 Highway.

Another bill to be taken up also would amend a section of city code related to energy cost adjustments of the electric utility rate structure.

The Odessa Board Of Aldermen will gather in chambers at 7 p.m.
