Busy meeting for Marshall Council Monday evening

MARSHALL, Mo. — The Marshall City Council will gather for a meeting Monday night in the City Office Building.

A number of committee reports are on the agenda, including from the municipal services and personnel; property finance, budget and audit; and community development and code committees.

The city administrator will give a report before the mayor is expected to make library board appointments.

A presentation will be heard from Tom McRoberts with C&M Wildlife Habitat Management, which will take a look at nuisance aquatic vegetation control at the Marshall Habilitation Center Lake, which was recently acquired by the city.

A number of ordinances will then be brought forward, including for a contract between the city and Board of Public Works and Utility of Safety and Design.

Any other council business will be discussed before the meeting adjourns to a closed session.

The regular meeting of the Marshall City Council is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. Monday in the Marshall City Office Building.
