A crash last night in Caldwell County sent a Chillicothe resident to the hospital.  The Highway Patrol reports 46-year old Matthew Tracy of Chillicothe was traveling at a high rate of speed eastbound on 36 Highway, 7 miles east of Hamilton, when he struck a vehicle being driven by 32-year old Richard Barton of Maysville in the passing lane.  The impact caused the Tracey vehicle to travel off the roadway and come to rest, while the Barton vehicle continued across the median coming to rest on the shoulder of westbound 36 Highway.  Tracy received serious injuries and was transported to Liberty hospital. Barton and his passengers, 30-year old Misty Barton, 3-year old Claire Barton and 7-year old Bredan Barton, all of Maysville, received minor injuries and were treated at the scene.
