Careers in Broadcasting. KMZU'S
Program Director Scott Powell participated in a discussion with students. The
topics ranged from what sort of educational background is needed to all the
different types of positions available here locally in broadcasting, but those

Job Shadowing. Students from the
Sant Fe R-10 High School spent six hours at the KMZU offices/studios. during
this time they were given the opportunity to visit with each department head
and observe what they did. They were shown how each dept works independently
and in coordination with the others.(October 30th, 2003) Contact: Pamela

Career Day. Program Director Scott
Powell visited with the students of New York School. The Purpose of the
presentation was to give the students and idea of all the different job
