Carroll Co. Area 911 Troubles

(Update) Carroll County Dispatch reports that as of  3:50 p.m. emergency 911 services have been restored in Carroll County. KMZU has contacted AT&T for comment. They advised us it was not a problem with their communications and they directed us to another telecommunications service provider.

Carroll County 911 service is reportedly down at this time. That’s according to County authorities.

Residents must call for emergency or non-emergency service at 660-542-39-11.

AT&T is aware of the problem and has crews addressing the issue Tuesday afternoon.

The outage is not just in Carroll County, according to the dispatch center, they described it as “area wide”.
